here's some pictures for you all of my next venue, Sunhills Country Club and Resort


this is the mountain drive up. there's about 3 miles of forrest. they built the golf course in the middle of this mountain and carved out a good portion to give the course a natural feel.

wait til you're behind those trees...hard enough to go sideways...too tall to go over.
tight approaches...trees everywhere.



this is the toughest par 5 tee shot. ob tight left...anything slightly drawed with a 5-iron or more is ob...cart path on the left side makes the fairway that much more narrow. the landing zone for 220 yards is 20 yards wide. its progressively gets tighter to a narrow 5 yards wide at 280. right is trees but if it goes in, you cant find it so its just like ob. if u hit 5 iron to the fairway, there's more ob left and bunkers right for your layup shot. then the approach is a long iron with ob left, cliff right and ob long with bunkers in front. a picture of the trees on the right that wait from the par 5 tee shot in the above picture.


fun fun fun. fyi for those non-golfers, OB = out of bounds (which is also a 2-shot penalty...so if u go in, you have to add 2 penalty shots to your score)
